“The tour is too expensive. You get basically the same for half the money or less if you book it in Iquitos. There are also more than enough tours, so you don't have to worry about not finding one there. And head flashlights are not even included, they are sold to you when you arrive at the meeting point, which I think is rude, considering you pay 250$ pp. Nevertheless, our tour guide was very competent and nice (Linder, young man who was born and raised in an indigeneous tribe in the jungle). Unfortunately we couldn't go on the night excursion, because of the heavy rainfall.”

Their staff are just the best, so welcoming and the food is top notch. Piranha fishing is an experience everyone should have in their lifetime, the competition to catch one gets fierce!!. The itinerary is very broad and is very interesting. Don't forget your bug spray and camera. We were very sad to leave.”

Spend about an hour walking through CREA with a professional guide, meeting rescued manatees, monkeys, birds, and reptiles, and visiting the Flooded Forest interpretation center. The center is 13.8 kilometers from Iquitos and requires you to arrange your own transport.
